How to measure for a small dog

If you have a small dog, one whose leg measures 6" or less from point of elbow to floor, please take the following measurements:

1. Measure from point of the elbow on one side of your dog, up and over the back to point of elbow on the opposite side of your dog.
2. Measure around both the left and right legs at the point of the elbow.
3. Measure around your dog's leg half way between the point of the elbow and the top of the paw
4. Measure from point of elbow to top of paw

Max, Doberman Spencer, Portugese Water Dog Max, underwent a ventral slot procedure on his cervical spine for disc disease.  At this stage in his rehab, he was able to sit sternal but not actively stand up on his own.  I wanted the Dog Leggs to protect his elbows and prevent any decubitus ulcers.  He is doing great with them and loves wearing them! Chloe Fairlawn, OH Chloe does make you smile in her outfits, however, the condition we were asked to cover and protect is a serious one, with wounds the full length of her front legs, as you can see from the photos.

• DogLeggs products are custom medical products and we have a very strict return policy for the health and safety of all the animals for which we provide products. As a provider of custom medical products that are typically prescribed or recommended by veterinary professional, we do not accept returns.
